"Models of Open Inflation"
Jaume Garriga
Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona
Abstract:
We review two field models of open inflation. We show that
a large class of such models (originally proposed by Linde and
Mezhlumian), does not lead to infinite open universes, but to an
ensemble of vast inflating regions of finite size (quasi-open
universes). Observational consequences are discussed.
