"Remarks on Eternal Inflation Measures"

Stephen Shenker
Stanford

Abstract:

In the first part of the talk I will discuss a single observer bubble counting measure for eternal inflation. I will point out several of its drawbacks. I will then discuss some of the consequences of supersymmetry for this and other bubble counting measures (including that of Garriga et al.). In the second part of the talk I will discuss the fate of zero cosmological constant bubbles when they collide with negative cosmological constant crunching bubbles.
