The new binding interactions that characterize the cosmic strings arising in brane world models of inflation both complicate and enrich the possible phenomenology of their networks. For instance, network frustration and a variety of UV-catastrophes become possible. I propose an analytic model for these networks that avoids these catastrophes under reasonable assumptions about the dynamics of string binding. I also describe ongoing numerical work aimed at verifying these assumptions. Finally, I discuss some of the distinctive observational signatures that these networks possess.
