"Loop Quantum Cosmology"

Abstract:

Loop quantum cosmology is the cosmological sector of quantum geometry (loop quantum gravity), a canonical quantization of general relativity. After a brief review we discuss its applications which include a removal of classical singularities, the prediction of initial conditions for the wave function of a universe from the evolution equation, and an argument for inflation.
