"Three Applications of Lensing"
Lam Hui
Columbia University
Abstract:
I will talk about lensing in three very different situations:
weak gravitational lensing as a way to probe the dark energy,
strong atmospheric lensing during a planetary transit, and a
recent application of the old optical theorem to the cuspy halo
problem.
